Welcome to the personal site of Steve Wattam. This site contains various bits and pieces of work that might interest others.
I’m a UK-based ex-academic who works on AI, mixed-methods research, and energy industry problems. My main job is for Kraken Technologies as head of behavioural insight, where I build AI models to reason about user behaviour, in an effort to make the energy industry better.
I’m interested in the confluence between people and machines — how we manage large volumes of data and reason intuitively about complex domains.
